Session One Hundred Eight: Return to the Bishara Estate

Kraah, Rafiq, Selia and Yusef limped through the portal and appeared exactly where and when they had left. They were not in the best of health, but didn't have much time to lick their wounds. Time resumed, as normal, and they scrambled to save Clavis, who was drowning.
Selia tied a rope around herself and handed the other end to Yusef. She then leaped into the water and saw a creature dragging Clavis into the depths. Selia used her bone dagger and stabbed at the creature. The creature fought back, but in doing so, released Clavis. Clavis floated back up to the surface and Kraah was able to push him to shore. Rafiq and Dimitria pulled Clavis out of the oasis and used their knowledge of healing to expel the water from his lungs.
Meanwhile, Selia was doing a decent job of fighting off the monster, while holding her breath. However, once Clavis was safely back on shore, Yusef began pulling the rope and Selia was whisked away from the fight. The monster tried to grab her, but failed and Selia was dragged ashore.
Kraah, Rafiq, Selia, and Yusef were badly wounded, from their fight with the efreeti, and Clavis needed time to recover from his ordeal has well, so the group decided to rest near the oasis for the rest of the day.
Kraah. Rafiq, Selia, and Yusef shared their experience in the paraelemental planes with Clavis and Dimitria. Dimitria was fascinated by the entire story, but Clavis only liked the parts with fighting. They gave the efreeti's bronze scimitar to Clavis.

Day 2, Week 2, Fifthover, Friend's Vengeance, 190th King's Age, Sun Descending

Upon waking, and after their morning routine, Kraah and Dimtria began using their magic to heal the group. After food and water rations were dispersed, they began discussing what to do next.
Dimitria wanted to continue their journey to the Blur Shrine, but Rafiq wanted to return to Tyr, so he could legally free Clavis from bondage.
They were not sure whom, if any, of them were criminals in Tyr, So Dimitria suggested returning to the Bishara estate to find out. Yusef teased that Dimitria just wanted to see her handsome, rich suitor. Rafiq asked if it was true and acted very jealous. This took everyone back a bit, except for Yusef. Yusef understood, Dimitria was quite fetching. Dimitria said that, while Ali did have romantic feelings toward her, she did not return his affection. After making this claim, Dimitria then told Rafiq that it was none of his business anyway.
Rafiq reluctantly agreed to go to the Bishara estate and the group gathered their gear together. Rafiq opened a dimensional gateway and stepped through. Dimitria and Selia followed close behind.
Rafiq was surprised to see the Bishara estate such a poor condition. He had never visited the Bishara estate before, but his father's holdings would never look so ramshackle. Then, he noticed a half-giant and a templar, in a black cassock. It dawned on him that the estate had been attacked.
Dimitria and Selia knew immediately what had happened and turned to run back through the gateway. Dimitria grabbed Rafiq's arm and rushed through, but a templar called out to Kalak and used his magic to freeze Selia in place.
Rafiq and Dimitria ran into Yusef, Kraah, and Clavis. They called out what had happened and, realizing the Selia was not with them, returned to the Bishara estate.

The half-giant guard tried to grab Selia, but Selia used her wild talent to make herself invisible to the brute. Clavis stepped through the gateway and immediately began battling the half-giant, with his newly acquired great bronze scimitar. Kraah flew through the portal, but still being injured, stayed aloft and gathered information about the enemies numbers.
Yusef stepped through and hid behind the gateway. Rafiq attacked the templar, with his iron sabre, that had frozen Selia. Unfortunately, another templar ran out of the main house and called on Kalak. His spell froze Rafiq in place.
The templar, that Rafiq had attacked, tried to cut Rafiq's throat, but his aim was off. He did cut Rafiq badly on the face. Rafiq teleported to the main house's roof. Yusef snuck up behind the half-giant guard and stabbed him in the back. The half-giant ignored Yusef and continued to battle Clavis.
Rafiq closed the dimensional gateway. Yusef grabbed Selia and carried her away from the carnage; moving as fast as he could. He yelled out to Rafiq to reopen the dimensional gateway, but Rafiq ignored his cries.
