Guest DM on D20 Cruise
I have been selected to be a guest Dungeon Master aboard the Event Cruises D20 Cruise. The cruise is from Orlando, FL and visits Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico, and Cozumel, Mexico, between April 27th and May 2nd, 2024.
The cruise will be filled with D&D, as well as workshops, and other games. If you are interested, please use the link below to check it out.
https://event.cruises/d20-cruise-a-ttrpg-vacation/
If you are able to join me, use my code: BRENTDUNGEON for $50 off.
The games on the cruise will be 5th edition D&D, but I am going to run it in OSR fashion, with death being very possible. But there are other DMs as well, if you want a more tame experience.
Most importantly, if you are going, let me know, so we can meet and hang out!

Session One Hundred One: One More for the Gray
Raco dragged and rolled himself toward the strange creature, that had just spoken, and punched it. It fell to the stony ground, unconscious. Cheet then spoke about how eating an intelligent creature was gross and wrong.
Yusef agreed with Cheet, but Dimitria disagreed. Her argument was that it wasn't an intelligent humanoid, so eating it was fine. Samsun and Raco did not fully agree with either side, but Dimitria refused to move on her position. Yusef called her a halfling, which did not offend her much. Cheet and Yusef thought entertaining any intelligent creature was akin to cannibalism.
Eventually, mostly to get them to stop arguing, Samsun and Raco agreed to not eat the creature. Dimitria reluctantly capitulated and agreed not to eat the creature as well.
So, they ate and drank from their stores and began hiking, as the sun was close to rising. Like many of the days traveling through the Ringing Mountains, the were forced to avoid ravines and climb up cliffs.
In mid afternoon, the group was forced to climb down, into a ravine, and then climb back up the other side. Kraah simply flew and he was quite surprised to find a man waiting on the opposite side of a ravine. The man looked Tyrian or Balican and wore a red robe. He introduced himself as Rahal, a rain cleric. He had been searching for the group, so he could get the eggs they carried to the Plane of Rain.

Session One Hundred: Lost in the Ringing Mountains
Day 5, Week 1, Fifthover, Friend's Vengeance, 190th King's Age, Sun Descending
The group got up and began their morning rituals. Samsun and Kraah preached sermons about how great their respective elements were. Dimitria implored the land to give her spells and Cheet memorized her spells. Raco practiced standing, with mixed success, and Yusef slept in.
Afterward, they passed out food and water rations. No one knew how to cook, so they ate dried meat and raw tubers. After eating, the group got up and began their hike.
The group climbed up steep cliffs, avoided ravines, and dodged rockslides. Yusef complained about all the walking, but the group ignored him.

In the late afternoon, when they saw the sun was descending in a direction they did not anticipate, they realized that they had gotten lost. They attempted to orient themselves in the correct direction, and continue west, but the passage west was blocked by the sheer mountain cliff and they were forced to go around.
When night fell, they did not know if they were on the right track, or not. They began looking for a cave and found one. However, as soon as Dimitria tried to enter the cavern, a human apparition appeared and warned her away from the "Forbidden caverns."

Session Ninety-Nine: The Secret is Out
A few of the gith stopped hoping and pointed at Kraah flying overhead. They nocked arrows, but knew that he was flying well out of bow range. Some of them started leaping toward him, which brought them closer to the rest of the group. Kraah did the only thing he could think of to get the gith away from the rest of the group, he flew away.
As the majority of the group fled along a precarious mountain path, which lead them northeast, Kraah flew directly south. The gith were able to leap from rock outcropping to rock outcropping; they were moving swiftly. However, they could not keep up with Kraah's flying speed.
Once out of sight, the group hid themselves on the side of the mountain. They did their best to blend in, Yusef gave them camouflage advice. Kraah dipped into a ravine and was able to lose the gith chasing him. He flew low and was able to make it back to the group, without being spotted again. He hid also.
The gith passed them and they stayed hidden, until the last of the gith was well out of sight.

Session Ninety-Eight: Mountain Dwellers
After some discussion, the group decided that Samsun would carry Raco on his back. They fashioned a harness to make Raco into a backpack. Even though Samsun was a half-giant, he found carrying the mul and a thirty gallon barrel of water troublesome, but he didn't complain.
As they climbed a mountainside, there was a rockslide. Cheet and Dimitria slid with the rolling boulders. They both were slammed against the jagged ground. Cheet was able to catch herself and find secure footing, but Dimitria kept sliding toward a mountain precipice.
Kraah swooped down, got hit by a few rocks, but was able to grab Dimitria. He could lot lift her completely, but he was able to prevent her from falling to her doom. Through bloody lips, she thanked Kraah for saving her.
Dimitria used her healing magic to heal herself. Kraah used his healing magic to heal himself and Cheet. After a brief rest, they continued on.
