Julius: Human male psychokinetic. Played by Dave. Speaks Balician and Tyrian.
Alaxander: Human male psychokinetic. Played by my 7 year old son, because Ben could not make it. Speaks Balician and Elf.
Kalino: Human male fighter/preserver. Played by DM. Speaks Rammin and Tyrian.
Vashti: Human female clairsentient/water cleric. Played by my wife. Speaks Nibnese and Gith.
Guacamole: Pterran male ranger. Played by Clyde. Speaks Pterran and Giant.
Fikri: Human male. 19 years old. Rancher. NPC. Speaks Balician and Nibnese.
Havva: Human female. 14 years old. Domestic worker. NPC. Speaks Balician and Nibnese.
Note: For those unfamiliar with Dark Sun, psionics are called the Will for wild talents and the Way for trained psionicists.
The group ran for nearly twenty minutes, the hot stone burning their unprotected feet, before Fikri indicated that the farm was just a few yards away. Vashti laid her cloak on the hot ground and then laid atop it. She began crawling, using her cloak to prevent the hot stones from burning her skin, toward the edge of the small fifteen foot cliff that overlooked the erdlu ranch. Everyone else walked past her.
Once they reached the edge of the cliff, they saw three gith attempting to break into a storage building and one more guarding a house a few yards from the others. Alaxander began shouting insults at the gith. Being so far away, only one of gith heard him, but could not pinpoint his location. Alaxander and Guacamole climbed down the short cliff while everyone else went down the gradual slope. Kalino, Julius, Vashti, and Fikri hid behind some yucca trees. Alaxander and Guacmole attempted to hide also, but had to cross a wide expanse first. While crossing the expanse, they were spotted and the gith rushed towards them.

Two of the gith attacked Guacamole, one attacked Alaxander. Thy began trading blows. When Kalino and Julius rushed to join the fray, the gith called for reinforcements. Seven more gith came of of various buildings and ran to join the fight. Before they could join the fight, Kalino used the way to grow seven feet tall and Julius used the way and allowed the gith to strike him. The gith did not do any damage to Julius, but in the heat of battle they failed to notice.
Everyone was holding their own, even Fikri. Julius released the way and a gith exploded into bits of bone and flesh. After witnessing the gruesome death of their comrade, some of the gith fled. Guacamole managed to kill two gith, but was the struck badly in the leg. He fell to the ground, his broken leg no longer able to support him. Guacamole refused to retreat and continued to attack the gith with his ferocious claws. The gith continued to stab at the fallen pterran, but Guacamole gave much better than he got and killed another of the gith. When Alaxander and Kalino ran over to help Guacamole, the gith attacking him fled.

Alaxander and Kalino stayed back to attack the two gith, but Julius and Fikri continued forward to save Havva. The gith leader held off Fikri and Julius decently. Kalino and Alaxander struggled to kill the two gith, but were successful. When they joined the fight with the last gith, Havva saw her opportunity to flee back toward her ranch house.
With three adventurers and one rancher beating on the gith leader he stood to chance. The gith leader was quickly dispatched. Kalino and Alaxander stayed behind to loot the fallen leader, while Julius and Fikri picked up Havva. They began riding back to the ranch, Havva looking up at Julius with obvious admiration and infatuation. Fikri leaned close to Julius and whispered that Havva would be of marriageable age in only two years. Julius nervously stammered, but was unable to make a coherent response.
