Session One-Hundred Twenty: The Blue Shrine

The group could not leave and decided that resting in this place might be dangerous. So, they decided to continue searching the strange cavern they were in. They walked across a wide bridge, onto another platform.
On the platform was a small bowl set into the floor. The bowl was filled with crystal clear water. Clavis was the first to drink from it and he discovered that the water magically healed his wounds. Everyone else started drinking it too, until they had drunk the bowl dry. Having drank so much, they then needed to relieve themselves, so they decided to just do it off of the side of the platform. They were surprised to hear splashing sounds below. They all guessed that there must have been a shallow pool below the platforms and they regretted urinating in it. There was nothing they could do to change what they had already done, so they decided to move on.

 

They crossed the narrow bridge onto the next platform. There, they encountered some skeletons dripping with water. The group engaged them in combat and it was a tough fight. The group emerged victorious, but no one escaped unscathed.
 The group fell back to the door and made sure it was closed. There, they decided to rest. They had very little to burn, so did not have a campfire. They used torches to keep watch.
A fews hours later, Sela was keeping watch. She was completely surprised when a group of dripping wet skeletons emerged from the darkness to attack her. She screamed, but it was too late, the skeletons were already upon them.
Clavis, Yusef, Dimitria, and Rafiq were quick to get up and defend themselves, but there were too many of the skeletons and they were quickly getting overwhelmed. Clavis started pushing the skeletons off of the platform to give them some breathing room and it worked pretty well. The skeletons would climb back up again, but it prevented them from swarming the group.
Dimitria was frantically running around and using her healing magic to keep her friends from dying. They eventually cleared the platform and regrouped. Dimitria had exhausted her healing magic.
Just at the edge of their torch light, they saw one of the skeletons climb on top of the platform. They gave a collective sigh. The fight appeared as if it was going to continue.
