Missing Monsters - Cragor Worm

It was pointed out to me by Rovewin of
Athas.org, that the Cragor Worm is mentioned in the Forest Maker adventure module. However, they are not given stats in that, or any other book. So, in an effort to rectify the situation, I have created the Cragor Worm below.

Cragor Worm
The cragor worm is not a true worm. It is an insect with a long abdomen. When threatened, the end of a cragor worm's abdomen will glow a bright yellow-green color.
An average adult cragor worm weighs seven pounds.

Combat
Cragor worms are not fierce combatants, but may be a threat in large numbers. Generally, they would rather flee than fight, but will fight if cornered or if it is mating season. They bite for 1d4+1 damage.

Habitat/Society
Cragor worms mate during high sun. Females will mate with as many males as possible during this time. Males become very aggressive to all creatures when attempting to find a mate.
Females lay up to fifty eggs, two weeks after mating. She then abandons the eggs. Eggs hatch two weeks later and the young fan out from their hatching site in search of food. Hatchlings only have 1 HD. They grow to full adulthood in one month.

Ecology
Cragor worms roam freely through all terrestrial terrains and are eaten by many of Athas' larger predators. Mekillots are particularly fond of them as a food source, so much so that a mekillots stomach will often glow after they eat an entire swarm.
They provide a half pound of good quality chitin and a pound of edible meat. The meat must be cooked, or will cause vomiting and nausea. Their chitin can be used for armored gauntlets, or to reinforce the joints of armor.
